TEROS 10 - Soil Moisture sensor

The TEROS 10 soil water content sensor is a rugged version of common basic, no frills soil moisture sensor. Its 70-MHz frequency minimizes salinity and textural effects, making it accurate in most soil or soiless media. With a tough expoxy body, the TEROS 10 is designed to withstand some of the harshest field condition, which means problem-free measurements over the longevity of your research. 

The TEROS 10 lets you configure to measure at multiple depths and locations. It's one of our toughest soil moisture sensors, its body withstand difficult environment for up to 10 years. Ideal for large sensing networks, it is sensitive to small VWC changes across the enture range of soil and substrate water content and can be installed in anything from dry dessert soils to very wet peat. An easing Borehole Installation Tool is available as optional for precise installation 
(free from air pockets) without compromise the measurment accuracy.
