The ECD FCX80 Reagentless Free Chlorine Analyzer is a panel-mounted, plug-and-play system specifically designed for hazardous location applications. It provides accurate monitoring of free chlorine in drinking water, rinse water, cooling water, and other water samples, with measurement ranges up to 20 ppm and optional low-range capability. Compliant with EPA Method 334.0, the FCX80 uses an amperometric sensor with integrated pH compensation to accurately measure free chlorine across pH 6–9, eliminating the need for costly sample conditioning systems.
Fully assembled with a constant head flow control device, pH sensor, chlorine sensor, and X80 transmitter, the FCX80 enables fast installation and reliable operation. The 24 VDC-powered X80 transmitter offers flexible outputs, alarms, MODBUS RTU communication, and graphical display options, making the FCX80 a robust, low-maintenance solution for chlorine monitoring in hazardous environments.
