WatchDog Hay Cellular Alert
Plainfield, IL – June 2012, Spectrum Technologies, Inc., introduces the Cellular Hay Alert designed to alert commercial hay growers in arid regions when humidity levels reach prime conditions to bale hay. This allows growers to produce a higher quality product.
The WatchDog® Cellular Hay Alert is easy to use and can be placed in the field to monitor humidity levels. When the user selected humidity level is reached, the Cellular Hay Alert will call the hay grower indicating that optimum baling conditions exist.
- Spectrum WatchDog Hay Cellular Alert requires user-provided basic cell phone (flip phone or flat phone; not a touch-screen Smart Phone)
- Presses the phone buttons to make a voice call
- Uses 4-AA batteries (not included) to power the electronic controls and display (but not your cell phone)
- LCD display (current humidity, signal strength, etc.)
- Key pad for user set up: humidity threshold, system test operation
- Relay terminal connections to control an external device
- 6 ft external humidity sensor and radiation shield
- NEMA 4 (IP66) enclosure
