PMSenseCR Particle Matter Transmitter

Overview

Cleanrooms and controlled environments depend on continuous visibility of particle concentration. The PMSenseCR counts and classifies airborne particles by size using the laser scattering principle, supporting cleanroom monitoring as described in ISO 14644 standards.

Five channels cover > 0.3 µm, > 0.5 µm, > 1 µm, > 2.5 µm and > 5 µm. It runs continuously by default for real-time monitoring, and cyclic intervals can be set to extend sensor life. Integration is via RS485 with Modbus-RTU or ASCII protocol. Versions with two 0/4…20 mA analog outputs are available, and an optional CO2 sensor adds another air quality parameter.

Key Features

  • Laser scattering principle: counts and classifies particles by size
  • Output in particles per cubic meter for five size thresholds
  • Continuous operation by default, or user-configurable cyclic intervals
  • Particle counts averaged over 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 15 minutes
  • Versions with two 0/4…20 mA outputs, each assignable independently
  • Optional CO2 sensor (PMBsenseCR versions): double wavelength NDIR, 0…5000 ppm
  • Maintenance-free, with fast response and long operating life
