HP3510 Soil Moisture and Temperature Probe
Soil volumetric water content probe with integrated NTC 10 kΩ temperature sensor.
- Two-electrode version (HP3510.1) for soil VWC, or three-electrode version (HP3510.2) for soil VWC in restricted volumes
- Measures soil VWC and temperature from one probe
- 5-pole M12 connector, with 5 m or 10 m cable
Overview
The Senseca HP3510 probe combines soil volumetric water content (VWC) measurement with an integrated temperature sensor, giving two key parameters from one field-ready probe. It is available in two configurations: a two-electrode probe (HP3510.1) for measuring soil volumetric water content, and a three-electrode probe (HP3510.2) for soil volumetric water content measurement in restricted volumes. Temperature is measured by an integrated NTC 10 kΩ sensor, and the probe connects through a 5-pole M12 connector with a 5 m or 10 m cable. It is used with Senseca HD35 series data loggers, such as the HD35EDLWS…TC.
Typical applications
- Soil volumetric water content measurement
- Soil temperature measurement
- Soil VWC measurement in restricted volumes (three-electrode version)
- Soil monitoring with Senseca HD35 series data loggers (HD35EDLWS…TC)
Key Features
- Two-electrode (HP3510.1) or three-electrode (HP3510.2) probe design
- Three-electrode version for measurements in restricted volumes
- Integrated NTC 10 kΩ temperature sensor
- Capacitive soil VWC measurement
- 5-pole M12 connector
- 5 m or 10 m cable versions
Benefits
- Two probe geometries: two-electrode for soil VWC, or three-electrode for soil VWC in restricted volumes
- Temperature included: integrated NTC 10 kΩ sensor measures alongside soil VWC
- Simple connection: M12 connector supports clean installation and probe exchange
- Built for soil monitoring: designed specifically for soil volumetric water content measurement
