Overview

The Model NA6 Sodium Analyzer is a high-precision online system designed for continuous sodium ion ( $\text{Na}^+$ ) determination in ultrapure water production, water/steam cycle applications, and power plant monitoring. Utilizing an ion-selective electrode (ISE) sensitive to sodium ions in solution, the instrument delivers accurate measurements across a selectable full-scale range of 10 ppb to 10 ppm, with a lower detection limit of 0.01 ppb and an accuracy of $\pm 5\%$ of reading or $\pm 0.1\text{ ppb}$ at calibration temperature. Designed for fully automated continuous operation, the analyzer features an integrated multi-channel sequencer capable of switching up to four individual sample streams, alongside two dedicated channels for standard solution tanks to perform seamless manual or automatic 1-point and 2-point calibrations. System integration and data transmission are supported via four 4–20 mA analog outputs and digital Modbus RTU RS485 communication

Automated 4-Channel Sequencer: Switches up to 4 sample streams using a programmable multi-position valve, featuring dedicated fast-loop reservoirs on each line to minimize switching times and eliminate cross-contamination.
Measurement principle The instrument takes measurements with an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) sensitive to sodium ions in solution. The response of the electrode is proportional to the sodium concentration in the sample on a logarithmic scale
Wide measuring range, low detection limit The ECDA‐NA analyzer has good performance even in the low range 0 ‐ 10 ppb. Upper limit of detection can be up to 10 ppm. Upper ranges available on request
