Overview

The Model UV6 is a family of on-line sampling analyzers that use UV absorption measured through a Quartz Flow Cell to monitor water quality. Utilizing a long-life Xenon light source and photo-detectors, the system relates absorbance to sample concentration based on the Beer-Lambert Law. It is configured for a wide range of parameters, including Nitrate (0–30 mg/L, 0–100 mg/L, 0–250 mg/L), Color (0 to 500 Pt Co units / 0 to 500 Hazen units), and COD, BOD, or TOC via correlation at a 254 nm wavelength (0–200 mg/L to 0–20,000 mg/L).

These factory-calibrated analyzers are designed for easy start-up by simply connecting the sample, waste, and cleaning solution or reagent lines. Standard installation includes wall-mounting hardware, with an optional benchtop stand and reagent holder also available. Operating the system, accessing data, and customizing analysis routines are straightforward thanks to a user-friendly touch screen interface and simple menu structure.
